Operational Experience

Having worked extensively in the International Brewing Industry with Heineken International, starting with Heineken USA and then internationally with the Heineken Export Group, Heineken Netherlands Supply Company and lastly leading Heineken Canada Inc., I have enjoyed upward mobility within Sales, Marketing and Operations positions throughout my career. Cross functional successes have broadened my business knowledge and worldwide business acumen via promotions and geographic relocations.  With strong interpersonal skills, I have been able to build and develop strategic relationships that are mutually exclusive towards cohesive team work and mentorship for many of my colleagues.

While on assignment in the Netherlands from 1999 - 2002, I learned to speak Dutch with a high level of proficiency. This allowed me to not only integrate faster into the Dutch operating company, but to enrich my personal experience of living in a foreign country and to assimilate to local customs and values. We have traveled extensively as a family and are always looking to visit new places of interests that allow us to broaden our experiences and bring us closer to the world around us.

As President of Consumer Impact Marketing Corporation - USA, a privately held fully integrated Sales Management, Creative Marketing and Data Management Agency based in Toronto, Canada, I was charged with the strategic leadership and geographic expansion into the US market for CIM Corp. - USA. This firsthand experience of the services sector has provided greater insights into the total market and the unique balance of consumer goods and services.

In 2008 I returned to the Beverage industry as Managing Director, Brewed Beverages Coca Cola Ltd.
In this role I was charged with expanding the Commercial footprint targeting key Food Service partnerships for the Far Coast Coffee franchise. This culminated in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics Sponsorship as the Official Coffee & Teas for the Olympic Games platform.

In 2011, the opportunity for transformational change, restructuring and turn around came in the form of CROSSMARK Canada and the opportunity to lead this Organization as President & CEO. Over the span of six years, we were able to build a dynamic business that achieved consistent Revenue and Net Profit growth and expanded our Services to increase revenues streams in a highly competitive market.

In 2017, I made the move to Trajectory Beverage Partners to restructure and expand our Sales & Distribution of our Company Owned and International Partner Brands in the Beverage Alcohol Industry. After three successful years increasing Revenues & Profits, along with expanding International Partnerships I had the yearning to focus more time to Governance & Oversight.

In January 2020, I enrolled into the Directors College through the DeGroote Business School of Management at McMaster University and in March 2021, I obtained my Chartered Director Certification     ( C. Dir ). As I transition away from Operational Management and onto Executive Coaching & Mentoring, I am committed to supporting other C- Level Executives through Peer to Peer Mentoring with CEO Global Network.
